About
Why Chase Horizons?
Anytime I travelled to a new place, I felt surrounded with new sensations and experiences. For once, I was breaking the monotony of the modern life that we inadvertently designed for ourselves. I was just present in that moment, without dwelling on the past or worrying too much about the future (yes, bills still exist ).
Without sounding too dramatic, I chose to travel full time and start Chasing Horizons in 2024, because it was the only thing that made me truly happy. I didn’t start traveling to collect passport stamps, but because some places demanded me to slow down, stay a little longer, look closer and pay more attention.
Our Shared Horizons
Rushing from highlight to highlight or ticking off “must-visit” lists was never the goal. Travel, for me, is the lived life of a place: the streets you walk every morning, the markets you learn to navigate, the festivals you celebrate, and the conversations that linger. I started this blog to share those experiences with like-minded travelers. My blogs are an attempt to remind us how the little differences make us so beautifully unique and yet how much we still share in common. This is an attempt to document our Shared Horizons and our shared humanity, all while being respectful of the local traditions and the people who call these places home.
Broadening the Horizon
Travel expands the way we see the world. Broadening the horizon means opening ourselves to new ideas, perspectives, and ways of living. It’s not just about destinations — it’s about how travel reshapes the questions we ask and the empathy we carry home. That curiosity is at the heart of everything we share here.
Our trips are built around staying longer, noticing more, and choosing experiences and places we’d genuinely return to. That means real stories, thoughtful reviews, and recommendations that come from being there; not just passing through.
If a place feels worth staying for, it’s worth sharing.
